This title was originally published by The Reilly and Britton Co. in 1916 and had 12 full color plates tipped in in various places. The First edition will meet the points mentioned above and also will have no publishers ads on the verso of the ownership leaf near the front of the book. The copy you have is a later Reilly and Lee published reprint and is post 1935 because it was published without the color illustrations. You can further date the book by the last title mentioned on the rear flap of the dust jacket "The Magical Mimics in Oz" was first published in 1946. and the next Oz title would be "The Shaggy Man of Oz" published I believe in 1949 (I am doing this from memory). So your book was published sometime between 1946 and 1949.
