I have this pedal car I must have gotten at a yard sale 25 years ago so my chidren could have fun. Well - now that they have grown I got interested in looking up it's history. I can't seem to find out any information on the AMF Firefighter 508 Edition varying side decals differences of this model. Can anyone point me in the right direction per information, age, etc. All the car is original and I'd like to fix it up a bit for my Son's children. I know it is missing some parts - bell, ladders, windshield? I not a professional restore type and don't want to wreck the look totally to make it look pristine.
Appreciate anyones help or information.
Thank you
Joe

Thanks for feed back "pw-collector". The Name and Number Logo style puts the car at 1967. Now - why the different style logos for the 508 Firefighter? Was it changed each year the model was on the market along with the accesories - or - to who the car was maufactured for ? Trying to get the hang of this, Thanks again
I actually believe that , the logo thats on the car , is the one that was used in 1970-71 . For more help and parts you can either call us at 248-853-0215 , or check us out online at http://www.pedalcar.com
