My great-grandfather's meerschaum pipe

(to those who've already seen this, I had to change accounts, but I'm back now)

I grew up assuming that this pipe belonged to my grandfather's father, Jerome Henry Sitges (1862-1929), a New Orleanian who ran a printing company in Mexico City, himself the son of an immigrant shoemaker from Menorca in Spain's Balearic Islands who owned and ran a coffeehouse in the French Quarter from just before the Civil War in the 1860s. But now that I've found out new things about my grandfather's mother's family, I'm not sure but what it may have come from her father, Juan Sabater (1829-1864, Cuba). The Sabater and Garcia families were also Menorcan immigrants, but by way of Cuba for a brief generation before arriving in New Orleans between 1835 and 1855 and setting up shop as cigar makers and importers of Cuban tobaccos.?Can anybody tell me how to find out the date and maker? The sticker in the case only says who repaired it in New Orleans.
Does anyone know the maker and time?
