I think that this is from right around 1940 - soon after the mexican railway was nationalized in 1938. Imagine bragging about the speed of a trip which takes 72 hours! But what a fun trip it must have been! I love where it says 'You'll return home with that happy as a lark, fit-as-a-fiddle, i'll soon be twenty-one feeling.'

The old advertising is cool, but bragging about the speed that amounts to 25 mph, although it beats walking ;-)

Yea, but imagine the trip on a burrow! Suddenly the R.R. becomes a FAST trip!
