This guy had this on display for $65, and let me have it for $50.. I thought it was a pretty good deal until I saw the same exact sign about an hour later for $15.. they said it's a new sign and a reproduction. It's not a big deal if it's a reproduction but I was wondering what it's worth? I don't need it to be sugar coated, I can handle it. I've seen pictures of this with the same exact, down to each spot, of the same dirt/rust/etc.. My question is, did they produce these purposely looking old originally? or are these new but made to look old? It's pretty heavy for being a little sign, that's why I thought it was legitimate.

My honest opinion is that they were made to look old when they were new if it was a reproduction I dont think they would be this heavy yours makes the 4th one I have seen now and one sold for $40. one for $70. and the guy I bought mine from is very honest and he sold me mine thinking it was real and he has been in antiques for over 30 years and know a lot about them so I think its real
