I have a Dr Pepper Cone top can, it is still sealed and full, it seems to be about 6 oz or so as it does not say. It has a bottle cap on the front with drink Dr Pepper on it with the 10 2 4, and below that it says "the friendly "Pepper Upper"
The colors are green and gold or yellow, any idea on the worth of this vintage item?
These are sought after old cans. Check ebay for priceing.... old cans, pop cans, coke cans, cone top cans ect.....
BTW, This should be a 7 1/2 oz can....
Thank you so much, it seems that even Ebay does not have any items like this at this time, I suppose I will keep looking...Thank you again!
Email & ask them, with pic...> collections@drpeppermuseum.com OK?
Good Idea, I will do that right away!

that'll give you an idea of the age.
That is an awesome can and in high grade.
It's been a while since I was around big bucks cans, but i remember that this one is.
I wouldn't dare venture even a guess in today's market with all the fluctuations of the past few years...but high. It is definately a keeper for someone.
Hi fishnuts, thank you so much for that input, it's one of those times where you wish someone would even a small idea as to the worth.
Everyone I have spoken with in person or on the net all agree, it is Vintage, real, in wonderful condition and valuable but the only price i have heard is around $100.00
Thanks all and Merry Christmas!
Well, those that proffer that value all must want it. Or, they don't know. My recollection is a number that exceed their estimates by three and a half to four times. DP collectors are quite aggressive.
I still have most of my reference material boxed up from the move, so I'll not be able to verify or quote from a source, but if it were mine, I'd take that to a show and mark it $375.
An off grade example is what would sell for a hundred, not your awesome looking on-grade example.
Don't give it up for too little, bro.

fishnuts, Thank you very much for your expertise thus far, I assure you I have no intentions of letting this example go for any price at this time, I purchased it for our collection that I hope to share with our town for now and maybe at some time donate it to a DP Museum of some kind if they will have it.
I just want to have a value pasted upon it for my own knowledge if nothing else.
Again, thank you so very much.

very nice, dont think i have ever seen one like this.... a real diamond in the rough! great pick!
Thank you chocko_2010 we simply love this item, it is truly an eye opener especially for its age and condition!
Thats definitely a higher end Dr. Pepper can. Made with real sugar
Agreed mountaindewhillbilly, we are really proud of the item as it is one of the jewels of out collection. Since I last spoke on here we have found out a lot about this item, it seems as the highest value we have gotten is 500.00 and the lowest is 100.00 but no matter as at this time we plan to donate it when we run out of room for all the DP items we have aquired.
Thanks for looking my friend.
RR
What a cool looking can.
Thank you very much, we love it in our collection, kind of a center piece.

Nice Can, I agree with fishnuts. I'm not up on my Dr.Pepper Game, But I am On my Cone Top Beer Can's.
Thanks For Sharing
I can not find any others of this can sealed and in this condition, makes me wonder how many are left ya know..?
Cindy
I can see it now. Those pickers on TV come by and offer you 50 dollars for the can and as they drive away they are high-fiveing each other saying they will get at least 300 for the can.
LOL, Yes I do agree totally, I assure you if they come by my little house in the sticks thinking we are gonna stick it to these folks, they will drive away empty handed when it comes to our DP collection because from what I see on the show "American Pickers" they are indeed getting out cheap.
We will eventually donate this and other items we have aquired over the years to a DP Museum if they will have the stuff before I sell to the Pickers.
Yes its like my dr pepper sign I have.I never seen one like it.You almost can put your price on it.How bad does some one want it?
I sounds like you have a very nice Dr Pepper collection. I belong to the Dr Pepper 10-2-4 Collector's Club. We meet annually in Waco, usually in March, to learn more about the soft drink, have an auction, a swap meet and overall a very good time. There is information about the club on the Dr Pepper Museum's website, Dublin Dr Pepper's website and on my Facebook page "Houston Peppers"! We would love to have you as a member to share your stories, see your collection and become friends via Dr Pepper! Take Care, David!!
