I found this soup tureen at an estate sale . Purchased it for practically nothing ! I've been told that the 3 pieces may not all belong together but they sure seem to fit . It's far from perfect , has some reglued handles and lots of discoloration but it is still a beautiful piece . The colors are wonderful and this must be hand - painted . It is numbered in red and says Brownfield Ivory on the bottom . Anyone with more info on this please chime in .

    Thanks for looking !

      Very nice colours!
I think it's a combo of transfer ware & hand painted.
If you look closely at third picture at apx. the 7:30 to 8 o'clock position, you will see that to make the stencil fit it made the one blue leaf narrower then the rest.
The transfer is all red/brown, with the blue & green applied by hand, I think.
I'm no expert, just my thoughts, thanks for sharing.
