This is a 14" tall, fully jointed bear with a leather tag on the back that reads: "McFarland Bears" and the number 3/3? . The ? mark is because I cannot read the 2nd number. He is in very good condition. He seems to have a little hump back and his nose and mouth are, what I believe to be a thin yarn. I love this bear, but cannot find any information on it. Does anyone know anything about McFarland Bears and where I can find information on them? Any assistant would be wounderful. Thank you so much.

Oh my goodness! Yes! This bear was created and hand-made by Joy McFarland Beaulieu who is now residing in Zephyrhills, FL but formerly of Sebago, Maine. She is 82 years old today and unfortunately suffering from Alzheimers and no longer making these beautiful bears. I am her POA and see her daily so if there are any questions that you would like me to ask her, or if you have any further questions, please e-mail me and I'd be happy to help answer them as well as I can. This bear will definitely be a "collector's piece" in the very near future! By the way, I also have clothes that Joy has knitted for these bears so, if you're interested, please contact me. Thank you for asking!
