These are DC voltage standards which were used to calibrate voltmeters and other electronic items. These are old 40's -50's. They measure 1.o16 volts dc now using a digital volt meter. Better standards are used now and these use mercury. The liquid is potassium hydroxide I believe. Mfg by EPLEY CO.
