Since I do overhaul aviation related toys, many times I like to recreate the scenes that kids had in their minds during those times when the toys were originally designed. Here are some of my "keepers" that I use to "flesh out" the various backrounds. I do this when I plan a photo spread to feature one of my overhauls. Here we have a Wyandotte United Airlines Super Mainliner (Douglas DC-4E) and two Parker-Erie Northrops being serviced by the local airport vehicles. There is a set of Tootsie Toy AirStairs next to the Wyandotte and a Tootsie Tug pulling luggage trailers. In the second shot there is a fuel tanker that has a Barclay tractor pulling the tank trailer. The last two pics are a before and after story of a Barclay Streamline Tanker-very Norman Bel Geddes in design. The last shot shows it overhauled to my specifications as a set piece. Notice that I try and keep the scale consistent if possible. Ask me questions or just enjoy. Regards,
fabulous!!!!!!!!!
Thank-you!
