This is a 1938 Western Electric crank wall phone : )
I am not smart enough to know that on my own, and I had help from TTomTucker on this site!!
I bought this phone from a yard sale for $30, and my Mother was with me and she asked what I would do with this big HEAVY (weighs like 40lbs..) phone if it had no value. I told her that I just didn't care, and that I found it historical and a fab piece of Americana : )
So i was told they are only worth around $150.-$250...
My Dad, who is a man of VERY few words, fell in love with this piece, and it is now hanging up on his wall. I'm proud to have this piece of history, and it will be hilarious one day to show my daughter and explain to her what it is, what it did and that YES-- it is a phone : )
Thanks for looking!!
