This was my father's, it has been sitting on the edge of the field where it broke down apx. 45 years ago. I can't remember what broke on it & why he left it there, could have been the hitch, without that he couldn't move it.
This is a ground driven 5' mower made in Smith Falls, ON
It had sunk into the ground up to the axle & surprisingly some of the parts still move.
Not sure what I'm going to do with it, my wife didn't sound to thrilled when I mentioned lawn ornament!
I think we need an agriculture category!
Thanks for the kind words Bellin
I agree Phil, I see 2 tables with glass, from the wheels, coat hooks from the guards, a nice little wall plaque from the lid of the tool box in creamy yellow with the Frost & Wood lettering in it's original red.
Thanks for the love, packrat, miKKo, gargoyle, official & Phil.
Thanks for the love, Marc & mikie.
Those wheels are a work of art -- completely stylized for a farm machine -- gota love it!
man, i'd hate to run over the cat in one of those!
Too funny ho2!
If you ran over the cat with that it might resemble a waffle!
Thanks for the love, trunkman, mrmajestic & Mani.
Thanks for the love, petey.
When I was a kid in the 50's we only had a "son drawn" mower. Hard to forget those pre-motor days!
Yes it would be blunderbuss, but what wonderful stories you have to tell the youngan's :-)
Thanks for the love blunderbuss, kerry & Bellin.
