I picked this piece up at a thrift store. It is a Dunn and Scaduto "They'll Do It Every Time" comic from 9-24-1971. When I purchased it, it came in a metal sectional frame with brown mat. The comic is on what seems to be a #20 bond paper. I can see some of the graphite marks on the front and feel the impression on the back of the paper, but I think this may be a copy of the original, because of the © strip is not a cut and paste on the bottom left corner.
Any help as to if it in fact an original drawing and not a copy would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Look's very nice .Great find,I have found some very nice comic's and stuff at thrift store's myself.Sound like you found a gem of art.First,I would see if you can look on the back side.Sometime's artist will put some mark like Mmm set copy daft copy date's stuff like that.#2 I looked at the left bottom corner has that date.Check the library to see any micro filmed newspaper's from around that time.I would say It's real with the little copy strip.Does it have a date this will help you.If so check the micro film from that time. When found take a copy and use it when and if you sell it.Hay Great find.Keep read'm and collect'm there fun.Frosty21
