(134 items)
My latest arrival. Loetz Ausführung (design) 134. Prod. Nr. 1116. Ca. 1920 and described in the Musterschnitte as "rosa m. grau". A healthy 6" tall vase. The silver in the decor hides in bright light, but is more visible when it has a darker background behind it. It has the acid-etched oval "Czecho-Slovakia" mark on the pontil.
Nicely done :)
Isn't this really a Titania decor ?
Yes, it is, it has the same metallic powder as Titania, but in the back of Ricke 2 it lists decors in which it was made, and it shows Aus. 134 in there, with the rosa m. grau (pink with gray) beside the Aus number. Al, I made them an offer I couldn't refuse. I paid about what I would normally pay for 4 vases, so all I have to do is look at an auction and say "no" four times.
I have a green and orange Titania and a green and cobalt blue Titania but I'm keeping an eye open for an all green and a green and red. IT MAY TAKE A FEW YEARS !
dlfd911.........I finally figured out that you are David ?
Yes, that's me.
David
Think that should be "look at 4 Auctions and say no each time ..." but it also works fine as written ...
:-)
Thanx for the link, great form! I have these and sometimes the Titania is thick and crackled sometimes wispy and emulsion like. Cool
