    This a fine fully functional Candid Camera Corp. 1938 Perfex Speed Candid only the early models had a capital "P" then it was changed to a lower case "p". This was the first focal plane shutter 35mm made in the USA and is sometimes called the "Albatross"due to its ugly duckling appearance. Made of a bakelite and metal combination. Very heavy and solid. A true work of art. I can't show the inside at this time because I have 35mm film in it(color film, should be interesting results). If anyone has one please share the photos.
    Update: As one can tell by the photo produced by this camera(pic #4) I believe I need a little more practice with this camera. At least she still works...

      I don't own one of these but I've always liked them. Too bad there aren't more screws on the front!
