Hello, this is Church Thrift store $5 Lithograph, I took glass off to get better photos, It is small 8 3/4" X 7", I can not make out artist name. It could be Florence or many other places in Italy. I think it is Italy, but I have been wrong many times! I am closing in on my Mysteries after 35 yr. of collecting and putting everything in spare bedroom! Maybe only 15-20 more! This site has been of immense help to me! Especially with motivating me. Thanks to everyone! toracat
Maybe 1925-1939? toracat
I'm 99% certain that this is a view of London, UK. That is the dome of St Paul's Cathedral at right.
As far as the artist's name, I'm not having any luck the middle letters of the last name are too fuzzy.
As far as old, well that is relative. Personally I would not call this print old, it dates from the late 70s to early 1990s. It was produced for the tourist trade and is not a big ticket item.
Just my opinions, I have been wrong also. Just trying to help out.
You are probably right! I thought crane and trucks and cars looked older, I have spent much time in both Eng. and Italy, and I just kept thinking about the famous bridge in Florence. It is nicely done with no dots on it Thanks too-much-stuff! I have too much also!
I think it is earlier than 70's by back of frame itis nailed and frame is corner nailed, I will put photo up. toracat
Maybe it is newer and they put in old frame toracat
Thank you Hems303!
