I own a few pieces of these beautiful babies! Mostly newer pieces. I got my first Eisenberg piece when I was 14 years old in 1974 when my mother bought one for me at an estate sale for $1! She purchased it along with some other items from the late 1930s. Once I was offered $600 for my precious “Eisenberg Original” 3.5" brooch. Needless to say, I turned the offer down! :)
Each year at Christmas I put up a small Christmas tree on the dresser in my boudoir.
Each year I decorate it with vintage rhinestone and pearl jewelry. I don’t have any Eisenberg Christmas tree pins, ( I am always on the lookout) but I do have my large Eisenberg Original brooch as the tree topper of my little tree! :)
Definitely look like snow a flake and I can understand why you wouldn't want to sell it....beautiful!....:-)
I was just ask by someone on this site if a dealer actually offered me $600 for it, Yes they did back in the late 1980s, before ebay and all the online auctions.
I don't know if it is still worth $600 coz I have yet to find one as large and old as mine online. Is it still worth$600 or since there is so much online, perhaps it is worth less? I don't know but I know it is priceless to me! :)
Thanks for the inquiries, interests and comments! :)
