I've always been in love with this piece.. Its .800 silver filigree, made entirely by hand, and its HUGE. Its so intricate and elegant, I just love it! I bet its fairly old too. Does anyone have an opinion on the age or country?

Identify the carriage itself! I think it might be the Gold State Carriage:

Heyyyy you're right!! Its the Gold State Coach!! Wow thats so neat, I never would have figured THAT one out. So I bet this was a little souvenir from London or Buckingham palace huh? Maybe Victorian or a bit later. Thanks a lot Vetraio!!

From 1762 onwards used for 'that special event'.
All of that and perhaps a Coronation!
1901 - Edward VII et al.

Mind you, it could have been made in Germany, too.
I think even English filigree would have to have been hallmarked.

Yeah thats deffinitely it, its got the same 5 finials on the top. The real one is a bit more opulent though lol

Hmm you're right, theres not a mark anywhere, and England is the most scrupulous hallmarker of any country, while Germany is the least. Germany also used a lot of .800 as well. I've never actually seen an English hallmark for .800 though, maybe they didn't mark anything under .925?
