    This is a nearly 7' tall carved cockatoo i believe. Definitely from the Adirondacks or vermont. Has 4 pieces, the log base w bird claws then the bird, then the wing, and finally the smallest is his crest or his hair atop. Must weigh 150lbs. All pieces have either a spike to connect or carving that fits into other

      Thank you adkmetalman!! It was sold to me out near westport but they said came from the saranac area. Tamarak huh, i will look into that. You have alot of nice stuff, would love to peep your collection sometime. Im really wanting a good old metal sign for the barns.
