LOUMANAL
(436 items)
I've been trying to find a similar vase on glassware sites but other than Loetz Vesuvian and Sommerso (Murano), I haven't been able to come close to it. It does not have a Pontil..smooth polished base, measures 8" tall by 8" across and weighs almost 12 pounds. Hope my photos will help in it's identification. Thanks everyone. LOU
The trailings on this vase remind me of Lampreys on sharks. I don't have a Blenko Catalogue or book but did they make similar items? The rim is similar to ones on Blenko vases listed online right now. LOU
that is a beauty
Love this! What a fantastic blue come pink combination!
Love it, beautiful colours and all those tadpoles swimming around it....:-)
Thanks Justanovice and inky! I'm leaning towards Skrdlovice; Jan Beranek but none of the items by Jan have these "Tadpole" trailings. However, the color combinations are similar in their ashtrays and vases. Someone will recognize it I'm sure. RER (LOUMANAL)
Thanks everyone for the love and support! RER (LOUMANAL)
it's definitely not loetz
Thanks Greatsnowyowl, I agree not Loetz and thanks toolate2, crabbykins and the others for your Love! RER (LOUMANAL)
Beautiful....love it!
Thanks Moonstonelover21.....I really love the Jewelry you have uploaded and my wife and I especially love the moonstone items which we had overlooked before. I checked some local shops and there isn't too much to be found especially the quality stuff you collect. Thanks nldionne for the Love! RER (LOUMANAL)

Still hoping that someone recognizes this unknown Vase. RER(BOB)
Hey Lou,
I don't know if this will help. but try looking up William Glasner Glass. He has many items very similar to yours.
MA.
Thanks MA! William Glasner is cetainly a possibilty. I noticed that his "trailings" on his vases are mainly of frosted glass. Thanks for your input. RER(BOB)
Thank you Agram.m, racer4four and gladys105 for the love. RER(BOB)

I'm still trying to find out more info. on this vase.

After 7 years, I’m still trying to find information on this colourful vase. Anyone recognize the maker?
If it helps at all, (Lily Pad Vase) is the style that I am seeing here, maybe? I have collected a few. Glass blowers many years ago would create them as a gift to a friend or relative at the end of their shift with the left over glass. If that's the case, it's a one of a kind but they are usually pontiled. You might have some luck if you search using that term anyway. Good luck, it's a beautiful vase.
Thank you TreasureTex. Bob
