A friend gave me this lamp and I absolutely love it. The switch has two settings. One for the colored bulb behind the womans figure and one for the multi-color wheel. There is a pink light bulb for one color illumination, but there is also a color wheel which allows it to illuminate and change colors from blue, green and red as the figure slowly revolves.

don't know who made it, but the label is from the UL testing labs who test many things and lend their name to be added to signify they did some testing; most often seen as labels on electrical stuff. Try a google for clamshell nude lamp. Saw one noted as art deco table lamp but no maker.

If you go to http://www.liveauctioneers.com/item/5637498 you can see a pair of these (one is missing the figure) that sold for $25. Thank you for sharing with us.

Hi, I too have the same lamps. I have both. I just got at auction. Its to be a gift to my husband. But a bit disappointed because the one was damaged during shipping. I have to find a way to replace the mini light bulb that lights up the color wheel. Both lamps do work, except the one does have a burnt out mini bulb. I did replace it, but it didnt work. I think I need to find the right mini bulb to put in the socket, or I have to replace the whole socket. But yes, I like the color choice of your lamp. what Wattage or volts are the bulbs? Thank you, amrose.

      Hi,

I just came across your information as I was searching on information on this type of lamp. I am trying to repair one like it & wondered if you could post the information on the exact type of bulb you found to repair the color wheel?

Ans/or...if you ever had the chance to take the base apart...could you take a picture of how the color wheel bulb is wired into the motor (transformer?) that rotates the statue?

My lamp is missing the socket for the bulb under the color wheel & I am trying to figure out how/if I can rewire it. The wheel still works & I have the plastic piece where the color wheel bulb fits...but alas, no socket or bulb type to steer me in the right direction...let alone a wiring diagram ;)

      Thank you,

      Jeff

      ...all sorted.

Had to put in a new mini bulb socket for the color wheel. Still no idea of manufacturer though. ;)

Stunning! Is it made from glass? I'm in love!

      Fentonia,

The base & shell are made from a black resin type material. The rotating statue is made of a frosted clear resin material.

The lamp has 2 lighting modes from a 3-way power switch...

      - Off
      - Light Mode 1 / Statue back-light (Statue silhouette)
      - Light Mode 2 / Statue rotates with changing colors

      Hope this helps ;)

I have one of these with a nude couple, i noticed it says halo on the exit ring for the cord on the back near the base
