I found this item in my barn 22 years ago when I bought this
house. It appears to be a 'glass' lense from some type of vehicle, tractor or display. (Nope, not Quaker State Oil - I already asked and one guy said no)
I have been trying to find out what this goes to and have searched the web
as well as asked all over the place. Train, car and tractor people cannot tell me.
Can anyone tell me what this is or goes to???
Here is a link to a picture of the thing as well.

you can email me at quotes@partsthatfithd.com
Thanks, in advance

Hmmm, Looks to me like it had a outer ring that went around the lip with 3 screws to hold it in place. How big around is it?
Also, take a pic of the back please. U can have up to 4 pic's showing your item.
maybe part of and old hood emblem
It's 5" in diameter, glass and painted on the inside. Yes it has a detent all around the edge to hold the lens into a housing. It has 3 notches in the outer diameter to allow it to be fastened in the correct upright position. The inside has facets cut into the center to refract the light, just like todays auto lens's
I will put up pics of the back
Brad
I added a picture of the backside of this item - perhaps that will help. BUT it's still an unknown!! Be a hero and identify this thing as I have been asking for years!
Thanks
Brad
