    I dont know alot about these and if anyone knows anything on an age value ect. I would love some info. The uprights seem to be 50 cal. and the base looks like a primer from a large cal shell. says 40mm and mk 2 on the bse. also has a serial or batch number. Would any of this determine age ect?

      WW2 trench art. This was a popular form.

      They were usually made by USN/ SEABEE shops.
