These appealing items are from around the mid 50s to early 60s. The facsimile gaslight plugging Bud is really nice. It has a glass globe with ACL type graphics, and the brass look alike base is all metal.
The Pabst bank is a catchy, well designed metal advertising piece.
The Pabst clock is another great item. I had to replace its electric clock with a quartz clock, which also necessitated replacing the original hands with a closely matched set. It still looks pretty good, though, and is basically authentic.
My final item of this presentation is a metal ruler promoting the products of the William Simon Brewing Company of Buffalo, NY. Sadly, this Brewery is no longer in business.
Such old time promos intrigue me. Maybe in 50 years on, people will feel the same for the ads of 2012!
Thanks, Bellin68...these old time ads were great!!!!!
