A 1934 Welta Perfekta folding TLR with waist level finder which produces 12 6x6 exposures from 120 film. Made by a German based company (Welta Kamera Werks) in Freital near Dresden. These little rare gems were only manufactured for 5 years (from 1934-39) due to it's high price, complexity of manufacture, and low sales numbers. The little brother of Welta Superfekta. The Perfekta was fitted with Meyer Gorlitz Triolan 75/3.5 lens and a Compur 1-1/300 sec. shutter; wraped with black leather and polished nickel trim. This one just went through a CLA and is ready for business. Where is my 120 film?!

That's a real beauty. Wish I could figure out where the ground glass goes when it's folded. Obviously, the mirror folds up, the lens board folds in and stays parallel to the film plane, and the top folds down like any twin lens--looks like the top would over hang the back like a balcony. Have I got it right?

Thank you very much guymannering ...It is a very unique and complicated design. It was designed to be a vest style folding camera but even when folder is still quite bulky. You are correct it does fold as you said except the ground glass stays horizontal to the body with no overhang. The way that works is the waist finder assembly hinges forward above the lens board and centers with the body when folded.
