hi collectors is anyone out there that can tell me about these chairs t y
The only thing I can tell you about this is that she's a beaut !!
thank you hedgewalker i cant find out anything
very nice! i think you'd call it an early barrel chair or barrel club chair.
Hey Lundy, there was a big influx of furniture in the early 90s from Asia. Nice woods, and modeled after Victorian and Asian history. These look a little like those. The really red stain on the wood is what leads me to suggest it.
Are you getting an older vibe in person?
hi amberrose thank you and yes they seem to be a lot older ill cut under the chair and take a good look thanks again have a great day
We have A couple of couches and chairs very similar to your low back chair that were made by the Pullman furniture co. 1920s-30s
hope this helps!
George
thanks geoge ,have not found one yet
I live in Vegas and there is a used Hotel furniture store here. They look a lot like the chairs they sell from the Vinetian Casino. You could check out their website and see if they resemble them. If they are really heavy and sturdy they may be from there. I love em, but we live in an upstairs apartment and my Hubby didn't want to carry them up the stairs!! LOL http://www.hotelfurniture.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=8&zenid=e1cdc57eb6ae41f94364c412244f98ed
dybeth thank you so much ill do that now and how much do they go for
They are pretty reasonable to buy used here in Vegas. However, a lot of people buy them and re upholster them and sell them begining @ $250 and up depending on the condition of the wood and they type of fabric used to recover them. They are really gorgeous chairs and comfy to. So if that is what you have...they are a good find for you. I would guess that they are some of the original furnishing of that hotel and I can't remember when it first opened here but it has been a long time. If they are those chairs, just email the folks at the store and ask them how old they are. Pretty sure they may respond. Hope I helped, but I could be soooo wrong about them. It is hard to tell.
there real close to those ,and heavy ,real comfi yes the help was great thank you so much
