My wife called me today from our local D.A.V thrift store. " Honey I found the coolest plane" I had no idea how large this plane was. It appears to be completely made of rough cut oak. the prop is removable. It looks to me like someone built this for a child to sit in. I thought it was a neat piece of wood working and glad my wife brought it home.
I say U are right. Hand made. Grandpa must have had alot of time & wood on his hands!
As a woodworker myself, if this is made of Oak, it would weigh a ton!! I would say it's pine. It is lighter wood & easyer too work with. Nice workmenship on this Huge rider toy though!
