    (186 items)

The city sent us a notice two weeks ago saying that the tennants in one of our rental units was in non-compliance & had 16 days to move. ??? was what we said, never having seen a notice like this before, we sat back & waited. yesterday was day 16, & they were gone, but left a nasty mess for us. (surprise) . in a plastic box were these, along with some other items. pict.#3is marked Drago Paris, pict,#1 says "Air Force Meritorious Achievement" .

US Air Force Achievement Medal (established in 1980 and awarded for achievement or service that would not warrant a higher medal), Army Combat Infantryman's Badge (CIB) , French Parachutist Badge, and Army Parachutist wings (may be awarded to Air Force personnel). Foreign parachutist badges may be earned by US Military personnel, but for someone to get both the CIB and Air Force Achievement Medal, I would think he'd have to do a stint in the Army and another stint in the Air Force. I think it's more likely to be multiple people. I could be wrong.

well the third post on this series was deleted, some thought it was in bad taste, so i did'nt wnt to offend anyone (REALLY!) But the short story was, mrmajestic1 located a web-site that had the EXACT layout of the three I.D. cards that had dated from 1968 (Air America pilots lic.) to 1983 (special opperations) & (anti-terrorist) using the VERY SAME picture in all cards. My only question was, WHY? Oh well, we here at C.W. have our hobbies, i guess that was his.

Kevin, thank you, im glad now i did'nt make some "slick" comment about the Okla. University football team, they looked pretty shakey against El-Paso!!!

I was wondering why the third post got deleted. That's a pity. I don't know what was in bad taste (Perhaps a reflection of the quality of my own taste?!?) I thought it was instructive.

Part of what I think CW is good for, is that when someone thinks something isn't quite right, they can say so and others can add information we can all get to the bottom of things and learn from the experience.
