    Hi this is an old music box and it plays laras theme somewhere my love. Its very old and its was very hard to get a hold of thats i guess why its so specail to me anybody know the history or the age or the vaule of this item thanks jeremy

      Your music box is by Schmid .Schmid made a wide variety of music boxes (musicals) but the most collectable are the licenced editions such as Beatrix Potter, Disney and the Peanuts Gang. Schmid discontinued business in 1995
      here is one that just sold like yours . if you look on bottom like the photo you should see their paper label .
