Could anyone please tell me a little more about these 2 items I took a photo of the front and bottom of each. Also would they be of any value?

Both are Japanese. The one in photo 1 has age (pre-war) the other is modern.

How could you tell its pre-war ....would this item have much value

That orange and the art deco floral decoration are the hints. You can also check out the mark on the bottom here:

The other place that made similar pieces is Czechoslovakia.
