i LOVE this huge garden turtle i purchased yesterday. i think it's from the 50s - judging by the pink concrete. it's just missing the loop to hang the bobbly head. it's over two ft across - nice size garden figure. when i first saw him, i couldn't stop laughing! i've had the frog for a few years. i think he's kind of old too. he looks a little sad, but i think he's just been in the sun for too long.
Eye4beau - i wouldn't dream of it! Thats going to be my first poject when i get back from camping in the sierra

thanks mikko! they are both amongst my favorite garden statues - and i own a whole lot of them.
I too love turtles and frogs in a garden.
