I think these are wade china but I need help figuring out what I have here. There are many little figurines some of them are duplicates.
found this: In August of 1952, the war restriction was finally lifted and George Wade Pottery once again began production of decorated ware for the home. Following a huge drop in the demand for industrial ceramics after the war, George Wade Pottery decided to reintroduce their retail line of pre-War animal figurines in 1953. The new figurines, boxed in sets of 5, proved to be a far better success than even Wade could have imagined. These new miniature porcelain animal figurines were called "Whimsies".
These came in Tetley Tea boxes and yes made by wade. They had various themes and the figurines depicted them, such as Mother Goose stories and nature animals. You are showing the Three little bears, the woman who lived in the shoe and puss in boots. They are fun and whimsical -- the rarer ones would be gingerbread man and the black sheep. They all have some value, and are fun. I have some posted on my site too!
You'll find them under the term "whimsies": Wade whimsies ... Northern Irish.

In England when I was a kid in 80 they were in Christmas crackers
I picked up a leprechaun in a local antique store, nit knowing its history. When I wanted to find a similar item for a friend, I learned it was a Wade Whimsy, found one online and ordered it. When I received it, it has what looks like a red rose on his backside - the first one I purchased does not. I know they were included in boxes of Red Rose Tea but I can't seem to find any info on the actual placement of any symbols on the figures. Wonder if the first one I bought is not genuine?? Thanks for any advice !
