I have a bisque (I think) JDK 18" tall doll. The # to the right of "Made in Germany" says 16 and to the left is either "Jb" or "J6", I'm not sure.
On her back in the bisque is inscribed "Linda Cunningham 1988", as well as Scioto 1984.
There is not a number below he J.D.K. inscription on the back of her head. She has auburn curly hair and an antique lace dress, panties and bonnet. The doll is jointed at hip, knees, neck, elbows and shoulders.

Is there any way to determine her value, I am not interested in selling her. I bought her at an estate sale.

Your doll is a newer reproduction of a Antique JDK (Kestner). Old molds were used by a doll class . They have also used their name and the date on doll by law when reproducing a doll which you do not sculpt( it is a copy of a original )you must sign and date it as this person did It was made by her in 1998 . These collectibles dolls flooded into market in 80's and 1990's and some were made by owner in doll making classes which helped make doll and sold the wig. eyes, and body . You did the painting and made the clothes or bought them . They lost their appeal and value in past 10 years . Some which were expensive at time have just lost collectors interest and they are just pretty dolls and have not much resale value . If you love her and want her to decorate your home she is pretty doll for that :-) Thank you for sharing her . ( the other name may have been person that copied the mold and or sold the blank head to students in her ceramic class )

Hi a good way is Can search Kestner reproduction doll ebay completed listings for a general idea . Prices vary but here is a link for one that just sold .
      http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-Kestner-doll-28-JDK-257-reproduction-Awesome-L-K-/180955487838?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a21c99e5e
and on another completed sale see price difference . I would never guess the market as it changes with the wind I think :-)
