The Designer 1909, I have never seen this magazine before but now that I have I want more of them! Amazing ads & fashion plates. These are just a few of the ads from inside. I am in love with the Pears soap baby! I will post some of the fashion plates. Thanks for looking.

Really Great pictures. I too love the baby picture with the pears soap. However, I really love them all. Funny but it was one of my dreams to become a designer. I never did, but I love it just the same. I watch and love the show "Project Runway".

Hi Kathycat, thanks for the comment.
Do you sketch designs? Love to see them if you do:)
I love PR too, dedicated fan since the first season.

      Hi Vintagemad,
      You are Welcome!
I only did a little sketching of designs. I mostly did sewing without sketching and patterns. (I just can't draw) Back in the 70's I did allot of sewing. I mostly made gowns. My sister-in-law wanted a 'all white' wedding and couldn't find white bridal gowns. I made all the bridal and flower girls gowns for her wedding. I had also made allot of my own clothing. It's why I love PR, it brings back old memories.
