    I bought this at a yard sale in Alameda for $5. i love old navy stuff and have found a lot of it around here. i have a few old trash cans and i'll post some more pics of them one of these days.

      Does "1956" on bottom indicate that this was made in 1956? Surely not. Or was it? I love this old can. Has fine style, and the Navy label make it even more special.

      hi mikkochristmas11. yes, i think it probably is from 1956, although i probably would have thought older. i'm not really sure though. i have another, really beautiful garbage can from the 1920s or earlier. i'll have to post that one soon.
