    We found this jar at a rummage sale a few years back. I've only been able to find examples without the lid, and without explanation of what its for. I'll keep searching:) I don't even know what category to put it in. The underside of the lid has a paddle churn.

      I have a cardboard box with four of these jars and original lids. Wish they were worth more! Each jar can see from $6.00 to $15.00 depending on how fast you want to sell them. The lid on your jar is not the original but makes it more attractive and probably adds some value.
