As you can see, I have two of these Coca Cola Spinner Bottle Openers. "Spin To See Who Pays". My question is as it usually is, are either of these truly 'old' or are they reproductions?
I can't find any info on the internet regarding them. Thanks for any help!

There are lots of opener repops out there, and I'm betting you found two of them. Petretti's books show these and the "spin to see" is supposed to be on the back side and there is no chain hole either.

      The opener you picture is a fake. 100% sure . . . . sorry . . . .

The first and best piece of advice I received about collecting old Coca-Cola advertising was to buy a Petretti's 12th edition and "learn up". I've been fooled a few times to say the least. Less so now. If one uses the book and checks with the experts here before buying when uncertain, one can drastically reduce missteps. The small metal pieces like bottle openers, knives, watch fobs are some of the most reproduced pieces, many more fakes than authentic out on the market.

Thanks for the advice and information. I'm 3 for 3 on fakes so far.... Oh well, I guess that means I should just use them and not worry!
      Thanks Again!
