    This is a small mantle clock about 8" tall. The dial is cracked in places and it used to run quite well. It has a lovely chime on the half hour. The back opens up and I think the top does too. Does anyone know the age or style of this clock? Anything would be helpful!

      It's not easy to tell from your photos but it looks like you may have a Crystal Regulator called Waterbury's "Calais" from circa 1915. It is described as an 8-day, half-hour strike, gong with 4 1/2 inch ivory dial visible escapement. Cast Gilt Bezel, beveled glas front nd back. Height 10 3/4 inces width 6 3/4 inches.
