    Hi Folks,

As a ten-year old -- 45 years ago, I carried this rocker home from a yard sale on my head for my aunt. When she retired 25 years ago she gave it to me as a gift. I'd love to know if anyone knows anything about this chair. I've always wanted to know more. Thank you! Pat pat@psynchronous.com

I had this exact chair! I gave it to a friend of mine as a baby gift. (she hinted loudly)
I had always thought it was mid to late thirties.
Really nice piece. The story and history with your Aunt is priceless.

The style! of chair you have is called ' Vase Splat Back', which was popular in the 17th 18th century. Hopefully this will give you something to help you with your research.
