Coca Cola sign that say sandwiches

Just acquired this sign from an old warehouse in NC. I know nothing about Coca Cola signs, I just liked the colors and graphics. It is metal/tin. It has been painted on the back side with the old salvage company store name. It says sandwiches on the top. It is approximately 8.5 feet long by 4 feet wide. I think in the original frame. I would like to know any information, including, year, value, cleaning suggetsions and if I should take off the pieces off wood frame that block the front of the sign.
