Bought this at an auction about 20 years ago. It came out of a home of a 94-year old lady. I have no idea of its age or anything about it. Any help would be very appreciated. THANKS!

I also have a chair like this and would Love any info about it or where to go to get it. Thank you very much!
I have this chair, only as a rocker. It was left to me by my great aunt because it was the chair I always chose to use when visiting her. It was a gift to her from her husband the first Christmas they were married around 1915 or so.
I pulled a chair very similar to this out of the trash someone had left by the road. The cane seat was gone but the back cane was perfect. I cut a board to fit the seat, padded and covered it. I cleaned the wood and oiled it with lemon oil. Looks beautiful, but would like to know more about the style and period. The arms are curved. The back is identical.
I just received a chair like this. But my chair has the carved support connecting the four legs. Does anyone know how old the chair is or what is approximately worth?
