My dad has this mystery oil can as part of his collection that he is wondering if anyone may have any background information on or may possibly even have seen one sell at an auction on its own. He got it as part of a lot at an auction. It was ocvered in oiliness when he got it and completely unidentifiable but it cleaned up pretty nicely. As you can see it is a paper label can with some wrinkles but the printing is all pretty intact. On the bottom of one side under vertical letters reading LUBRICATION it has a copyright 1937 S P Co. On the other side under verticle letters reading PREMIUM it reads Design No 10. The top is stamped SAE 30 and the bottom is stamped with the information of the manufacturer of the can itself, Sutherland Paper Co of Kalamazoo, MI. Google searching anything to do with Soo-preme proves to be pretty futile as far as results go that may pertain to the oil can.
