I found this during my second trip to the same location where I found the bullets. I am not sure whether this is a bullet, screw, button, pin, or what. But it was in the same general area, buried 6-8 inches deep. The item is very small (a little larger than a pencil eraser). Just curious to see if anyone know what this is. Thanks again to everyone for the help.
Hi, BHock45! Haven't a clue. Doesn't look like a bullet to me, but I am very ignorant of bullets!, and will ask my brother to take a look when I see him on Monday. Could this be an old corroded rivet?...Hope you have a great weekend.

Looks like an old Dzeus fastener from an aircraft. Can't be positive from the pics but ask an old time mechanic around your local airport.
Hi, BHock45! My brother couldn't make it over yesterday - sorry!
It hasn't changed I see. It's still an old style Dzeus fastener. The head will have a slot for a common screwdriver. They are 1/4 turn fasteners fo eng. cowling etc..
Super!!!
Hey blunderbuss, have been away for awhile so I will change it. Thanks for helping me out! Yeah, it is like the size of my fingernail so I wasn't so sure it would be an effective bullet. If I find anymore mysteries I know where to go!

As long as it's not a blud'clot vase!
