Here's another one of these magazines - all about the poster as advertising medium - from a very interesting time - 1927 - when color printing processes were burgeoning for the first time. check out hte beautiful zebra/parrot photo from Leipzig in the third pic and the Ozark painted truck is amazing in the 4th pic!! [that will be my tribute to Burning Man, which just ended].

They are all appealing, wouldn't it be great to stumble upon that car. He was ahead of his time, what a great way to get peoples attention, & get them talking.

Do you go to Burning Man?

i used to, but not for the past few years. it's too big now. the last time i was there was 02 and the first time was in 92 or 93.

Some things lose their charm when they draw to big of a crowd. I've only seen some highlights on TV.
      Cool stuff though!

yes, it is still lots of fun, but i just don't feel like dealing w/ such huge crowds anymore. i'd rather live w/ the memories of how it used to be. i went to one of the first ones in san francisco way back in the beginning. might have been the very first one, but not sure.
