Glass Vase for Alfredo

A week or so ago, Alfredo posted a glass vase that looked very familiar to me. Here's his post:

My parents bought the same glass vase in the 1950s, when they were living on the east coast. Somehow it ended up with me. For the past few decades, it's mostly sat on a shelf in the garage. It's got a few chips out of the bottom, and it's really heavy. The base is a big chunk of solid glass that's been ground flat. It's probably about 8 or 9 inches tall.

Thanks for reminding of this piece, Alfredo. I need to go get some flowers and put it to use!
