Gorpi the Bear & Friends

Gorpi (named because of his growl) will be 62 yrs old in Feb 2013, I was 3 months old when my parents bought him for me, I have no idea if he was new at that time. I was born in England, maybe he was? or not? He is 22" tall, he's fully jointed, (wood I think) with a slight hump back, stuffed with wood wool, has rexine paw pads & did have claws at one time. He has no tags or a button in his ear & no holes, I also have no idea if his nose is original but it's been that shape for as long as I can remember, his eyes are glass. He was a beautiful deep blue grey back then & his ears never stood up, nor do they show any sign of ever standing up. I have scoured the internet in search of his maker but have not been able to see any other bears like him.
Any ideas would be welcome!
