Industrial Lamps ?

I bought these two lamps at auction for 5 dollars. They looked a bit industrial to me. They seemed to be made of some kind of small pipes bound together. I think the workmanship of these are great. These are very heavy and are not marked. Don't know if they are old but would love to know more about them.
