I am sure more than one glass house did enamel airbrushing in the 1920-30's, for one thing there are so many styles that I grew overwhelmed and just lumped them all in one group.
Czech Pottery used a similar technique in decorating around the same time. I imagine a fire stoker apparatus at their feet with a long hose and airbrush tools that look like perfume atomizers... ( I just had Indian food and sometimes my Imagination goes wild because of it)
Pic #2 has a strong match in shape to Kralik, #1 & #4 have a strong match to Ruckl and I have seen an airbrush with a Welz sticker as well. They are great pieces to collect becuse most of the time they come cheap
We have arrived at the end of this series of Czech Enameling, I hope you will go back and look back at all ten and enjoy the artistic craftsmanship of this glass. There are still more types of enamel work from the Czechs including: Silver deposit, High enamel, deco stencils, Egyptian air brush, powders, bedazzled vanity sets, coraline, Nouveau nature etc.... I plan to show Loetz enamel styles next...
Red wine does that to me!! (wild imagination!!) - I'm new, so will definitely look back at all ten and hopefully learn something
