The crazy thing about digging around here, is the scattered dates of the things I find! I can find something from 2 yrs. ago next to an 1858 bottle...
The patina on shotgun shell and the obvious label/tag completely in tact with s hook and wire . I'm thinking the wire is that of an old hanger? Not really sure it doesn't seem to fit the standard of old hangers. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

Well, now I think maybe it could be a piece of old barbed wire?
