Being a photographer I am always trying new groupings and setups; and here we have a nice lineup from my collection; of the usual suspects from France. 1st photo clockwise from top left: Legras (attributed; see earlier post) Le Verre Fransais, Gabrielle Argy-Rousseau, Emile Galle', Almeric Walter, Almeric Walter. In the 2nd photo from left to right: Daum Nancy, Charder, Le Verre Fransais, Muller Freres. So except for a couple of others, this is a pretty good sampling of French Art Glass from about 1900 to 1940 (give or take) representing both Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles. The techniques range from acid-etched cameo glass to pate de verre, and the colors pretty much span the rainbow. Not quite a book yet, but it's a start. Enjoy!
Very impressive collection. There is more? Love the Argy Rousseau especially. Thank you for sharing these examples of les Maîtres Verriers!
Gorgeous, my favorite is the La Nil.
Still La Nil? :)
And thank you, vetraio50. Stay tuned for (un petite peu) a little bit more.
sorry, my French isn't good. Un petit peu...
The French teacher is me is patient.
I've got to control it!
Thanks for that. I'll try to resist the urge to speak it (which is worse than my writing). :)
My favorite... Galle'.... Very nice collection!
